Coricidin hbp: This formulation lacks the catecholamine vasoconstrictor that is found in sudafed. It is this agent which 'decongests' the sinuses. Coricidin hbp will help with the histamine reaction if the sinus congestion relates to that but won't be the same as sudafed and it shouldn't increae heart rate.
