Pain relievers: Endometriosis can be very painful and other than adding tylenol (acetaminophen) to the ibuprofen, your physician will have to prescribe prescription type pain relievers.

Go back to gyn: Endometriosis can be extremely painful, and while Ibuprofen is helpful for mild to moderate pain and inflammation, there are much more effective pain medications for severe pain. It may also be that you have a more complicated case of endometriosis that may warrant further evaluation and treatment in addition to pain meds. Call you gynecologist.
