A member asked:

My husband is 40 with no previous history is having scintillating scotomas 4 the last few months he has stressful job no headaches what to do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Needs exam: Scintllating scotomas can be a form of migraine even though they are not followed by headaches there are many triggers for these phenomena.. I would certainly consult your pcp to make sure there are no other neurologic issues.. Also see your eye doctor because there may be other cause for these symptoms other than stress.(such as lyme disease).
