Why is it i get 2 different readings in each ear when i take my temp with a ear thermometer. one says fever the other doesnt. ?

Ear infection possib: When the ear drum is inflamed, the temperature reading with an ear thermometer may be altered. If you have ear pain or drainage, it is best to check with your M.D.
