A member asked:

Can people with hr in 30s 40s in sleep take beta blockers? and if they have low during day what is the difference?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bradycardia: Slow heart rates that don't maintain adequate cardiac output can be a problem. Some people with sinus bradycardia can take beta blockers without slowing more. People who need higher heart rates to maintain cardiac output can have problems functioning if beta blockers slow their necessary rate too much. What happens depends on the individual and their responses. Caution is advisable.
