Fever: If fevers are continuing, i recommend consulting an infectious disease specialist as infections of some sort are the commonest cause of fevers of unknown origin. Appropriate cultures and blood tests for inflammation and autoimmune diseases will be done. If felt indicated ct scans may be done. However since it's been only a week, observation only may be advised at this time.

FUO: Fever of unknown origin requires a detailed evaluation done by an experienced doctor. Many times such a work has to be repeated more than once. That is the only way to find the cause which can range from infection, inflammatory diseases and occasional cancer. Go to your internist or an infectious disease speciaist.
