Moderate: Probably moderate, ranging from hardly none to marked. Everyone is different. Variables include degree of periodontal disease, infection, length or roots, your pain threshold, and type of pain medication.

Wide range: It is difficult at best in order to try to estimate how much discomfort ; swelling you will have. Most patients do surprising well. It depends upon your general health, difficulty of extractions, expertise of surgeon, amount of inflammation\infection present etc. I find the two biggest variables are how easily one bruises and their pain threshold. A good surgeon will advise and take good care of u.
