Eventually: Unless you address this issue. Gum disease does not self correct. Have your dentist clean your teeth, show you how to brush and floss them, go over eating foods that do not promote decay and gum disease and follow all treatment recommendations. As with a small leak in the roof, it is always better to have proper repair done early rather than waiting to see what happens if you do nothing.

It depends: Depends on how much bone is around each tooth. Your dentist needs to evaluate your dental condition and determine gingival condition versus the amount of bone underneath.

Gingivitis: No, as long as you are sure that it is only a "little bit". At this point, get on the right track by seeing a dentist for a thorough examination, cleaning and necessary x-rays. Please ask to be taught proper brushing and flossing techniques so that you can practice ideal home care and oral hygiene. At your age, you have a chance to reverse any disease and learn to prevent any in the future!
