No for neurons: I interpret your questions to mean that if you have an injury or stroke and there is a loss of brain cells, will they grow back? The classic answer with neurons (these are the ones important for thinking and movement) is that they do not regenerate. These are also the most sensitive to injury. Other types of brain cells such as the glia or microglia are not as sensitive to injury.
