Can you explain if it's possible for an addict to learn how to use in moderation?

See below: One does not learn to use substances responsibly. It is conceivably possible to return to "social" if the compulsions are removed with meds (i.e. Naltrexone) but they usually return later. Do not attempt this almost everyone fails. The ones who don't see error of their ways and stop early on.
