Depends: Since it is a heavily abused medication, most physicians will be cautious about prescribing it without determining if it really is the only option for someone. Having said that, it can be a good medication to treat some patients, if used correctly. Many physicians will ask patients on it to sign a controlled substance agreement to make sure it is not abused. Good luck to you!
