It's ok: Excessive ear wax is only a problem when it completely blocks the canal and causes ear fullness and hearing loss. You would need to be seen to determine if impaction is the problem.

No: You will not be able to hear as well when the wax gets worse. Do not clean the ears ANS ear canals with q-tips. This pushes the wax deeper in the ear. Have an ENT specialist look at your ears if the hearing is diminished.
