Fruit & diets: It is not bad to eat fruit on a diet. It is bad to eat a lot of anything on a diet though, so you have to set limits. While an excellent source of fiber and nutrients, it also has a rather high carbohydrate content, so if you are diabetic or trying a low carb diet/lifestyle then you need to keep it lower. Fruit juice, though, is a big NO-NO on a diet - way to many empty calories.
