A member asked:

I was wondering is every heart attack the same?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Heart attack: Heart attacks vary by which vessels are involved and the extent of myocardium damaged. While the pathophysiology of most heart attacks is similar, there are more extensive and less extensive amounts of damage and underlying blood vessel abnormalities. There are general treatment principles but some people need more treatment than others.
