I have panic attacks every night. my heart rate gets up to 125 sometimes. is this dangerous. an what can i do for them?

Very treatable: Panis attacks are usually very treatable with cbt, relaxation techniques and desensitization. A heart beat of 125 is high and should be checked by an md. He/she can make a recommendation for a psychologist who uses the above techniques for panic attacks. Sometimes medication can be helpful, but should be done with therapy. If you have had past trauma, get therapy for that.

No,but feels like it: Panic attacks are not life threatening even if they feel like they are. They are described by most like a "heart attack" and often seen at the er but they can be very frightening. They are treated with anxiolytics and antidepressants. Cognitive behavioral therapy also helps as well as relaxation techniques.
