Misunderstanding: Hiv has no window. An exposed individual will experience infection fully within fourteen to twenty one days after exposure. A good HIV viral test will be 100% accurate in diagnosing this infection from that point forward. Antibody testing is slower detecting infection because the human body creates these HIV antibodies slowly. 95% of them, however should be diagnosable at 12 weeks, 100% by 24.
