Probably need more!: Most adults need 5-8000 iu of d3 a day to achieve optimal blood levels of 50-80. But very low levels while on 2000 iu/day is unusual. I wonder if you are absorbing the type you take. Consider trying a different brand, take it with food, and increase to 5000/day. Now that spring is here you can also get d from sun exposure.
