Is chf likely at age 20-30?sometimes when i wake up i have small mucus in lungs. no sob, no other symptoms. no family history heart issue.other cause?

Not heart failure: Congestive heart failure causes shortness of breath with a dry cough - people can't raise any mucus (because their breathing passages are clear - the problem is in their blood vessels). By definition, your symptoms are due to bronchitis, most likely viral in nature, and will pass with time.

Yes: CHF is likely at young age also but your symptoms probably are not related to chf. Please check with your pcp and get evaluated. It may be just sinusitis.
