Unlikely.: That would not be a mechanism for heart failure. At the worst, you could get a pulmonary or cardiac contusion, which would cause pain and shortness of breath, but I would think that would need to be quite a severe shot to the chest to cause that - not a mild to moderate one. Usually you'd have rib fractures with that type of impact. If it persists, get to ED right away.
