With the next bite: To have a successful weight loss diet, it takes lots of planning including looking at recipes and creating shopping lists, scheduling prep time, making a "date" with yourself to sit down in a pleasant setting to eat and enjoy a healthful meal. Please see my guides to healthy eating, etc. For more tips including the value of recording or using an app as an aid. (i added links in the comments below).

Make it fun!: Adding to dr. Yoder´s comments, consider the aid of a "online" tool that can help you keep track of your goals, exercise, calories and nutrition in general. If you have a "smart phone" tools like" lose it!" can be downloaded for free and can be fun to use. And it is between you and the app.
