Ct scan w/ contrast results say 1) renal parapelvic cysts & 2) defect right posterior diaphragm with herniation of fat into the right posterior costophrenic sulcus. what does this mean?

Relatively common: The parapelvic renal cyst is a relatively common finding on routine urological examination but rarely needs treatment, unless it causes pyelonephritis, symptomatic renal stones or back discomfort.

Ask...: Those findings are most likely so-called incidental findings which are found in ct taken for body pain here and there. Usually, they carry no clinically significance and nothing needs to be done for them as long as you live well and comfortably. But if still in doubt, consult your doctor timely. Besides, practicing healthy lifestyle with no overindulgence and obsession will help live a long life.
