Need to be treated: Where in the urinary tract? Bladder? Ureter? Squamous cell carcinoma- is a cancer. Thus it should be treated. Treatment will depend on the area ( which part of the urinary tract) and the staging. If it is localized and small and no invasion to the muscle etc- surgical resection to cure it will be the goal . If invading to the muscle/lymph node etc- chemo would likely be needed. D/w your urologist.

Yes it is: It is definitely a bad cancer. You need to go seek a consultation/second opinion with a urologist, preferably at a major cancer center convenient to you. Unless you haev seen 2 urologist, you would not know what is your best treatment option(s).
