To my understanding Squamous Cell Carcinoma means excision and other cancer treatment modalities. Prognosis depends on size, invasiveness, duration, and other factors. Best health care specialist to remove lesion is an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, usually working in concert with an Oncologist.
