Am i more likely to have sons if i get infected with toxo while pregnant, or is this an old wives tale?

No: Toxoplasmosis is a parasitic disease that is caused by a protozoan. It has nothing to do with determining the sex of the baby. But, can cause serious complications during pregnancy if not treated.

Quirky question: You are more likely to have a miscarriage, or baby born with with the effects of toxo if you are infected for the first time during pregnancy. The gender is not a factor.
