Possible: Cold sores are usually due to herpes simplex virus and very easily transmitted from person to person. Would be unusual to transmit to a fetus, but once baby is born (or if you have vaginal lesions) the baby can acquire this. Discuss this at length with your ob/gyn. They are very knowledgeable about this.
