A member asked:

Each summer i suffer from tinea on my back..used tinea creams..is there any injections to stop it ..

Tinea: No, no injections that i know of. You say the lesions are on your back and noticeable only in summer. It is possible that what you have is tinea versicolor, especially if the spots are lighter than the surrounding sun-exposed skin. The topical treatment for this is selenium sulphide. Oral treatments also exist and can be very effective. See your doctor for an evaluation.
