Depends: If all the middle ear ossicles are present and moving, the answer depends on what the surgeon did in the middle ear and if you had a graft of fascia. If you had a perforation repaired, that tissue graft can never replace a normal ear drum. Therefore you may never achieve perfectly normal hearing. Ask you surgeon.
