Preventive work: CP involves a non-progressive disturbance in the motor control of the muscles of movement and posture. Unfortunately, the "fried" circuits may lead to sedentary living and a gradual loss of the remaining potential for movement unless the muscles are used. Passive and active (stretched) movements help preserve what is left.
