Need more info: The symptoms of the initial HIV infection is like a flu, or mono. Fever, joint pain, rash, fatigue, and lymph node enlargement. Because of the long incubation period, it may take several weeks or months to experience these symptoms after an event of infection. If you are really worried, you need to have HIV infection tested. There could be a falsely negative test, if the test is done too early.
