Heavy periods: Means you have menorrhagia, need more info, age, medical hisotry, blood thinners intake i.E coumadin, (warfarin) aspirin..Etc.. Cannot give you an answer, sorry.

Need treatment: With heavy painful cycles as described above, i strongly recommend u make an appt to see your doctor. You will be assessed to see if there are other problems causing abnormal bleeding. Your md can discuss treatment options based on your medical history, desire for future fertility, treatment goals, etc. There are many good options to fix this frustrating problem. U don't have to live with it.
