Likely Artifact: Because of the nature of the MRI and averaging the water content in the cuts, it is very sensitive and can lead to artifacts, that is why multiple views and settings need to be performed.

MRI WITHOUT AND WITH: Why was the MRI done?Need to know more. Medicine is a combination of clinical and labs and xrays. Talk to your dr or radiologist. With contrast is more specific.
