Call doctor now: It's always important to let your doctor know when things change (for the worse), so they can advise you properly, and document it in your chart. S/he will offer you the proper otc you should take, and if you need a follow up visit. Most importantly, keep hydrated if you are having fever, and check in with their office, so you can get thru this easily. Pneumonia is a serious condition.

Antibiotic: Did you have an xray to confirm the diagnosis of pneumonia? Some antibiotics are ineffective in treating certain types of pneumonia and it helps to determine what the causative organism is. If your fever persists you should be reevaluated by your physician for a possible change in antibiotics and another chest xray.
