Common finding: All infants will have at least one ear infection and some have many. Fluid can persist for weeks after treatment and re-infect. If a kid does not completely clear by 90 days or has 5 episodes in a year, i consider sending them for tubes.

Pediatric ENT: There are otolaryngologists who specialize in seeing children and would strongly recommend you fine one and have them see your baby. He may need tubes in his ear drum, or other therapies. Good luck and hope this resolves quickly.
