Varicella-zoster: Famciclovir may or may not shorten the duration of lesions due to this recurring viral infection, and new lesions may appear despite therapy. Would recommend that you invest in the vaccine for this as soon as the acute episode you are describing resolves. That may help limit both the frequency and severity of recurrences. Sorry this is happening and hope you are better soon.
