My doctor sent me for an eeg today, awaiting results. however i have a massive headache now (two hours after eeg). is this normal?

EEG: An eeg is a study of the brains electrical activity. This should not cause any headache. If they did photic stimulation during the eeg, it may be possible that it could have caused a migraine like headache, but the eeg study itself would not cause a headache. Please contact your doctor to let them know.
