?salt like: How do you know they are "salt like" things? Dry, flakey skin can certainly be found on the sheets if you have that condition. Salt can be excreted through your skin in the form of a salty perspiration (this is why if you ever got sweat in your eyes it may sting, etc) and if left to dry, i assume salt particles may be visible.
