Steroids: Can cause those side effects. Not sure why you had those shots- and can suggest neuromuscular massage for release of tension on those muscle s as well as acupuncture for long term benefit.

Can't tell but: Shortness of breath and fatigue can be caused by asthma but too much steroid may induce hyperventilation (giving the sob sensation) as well as weakness from loss of potassium. Time to see your doctor.

Asthma Exacerbation:: Any stress, illness, infection can trigger an asthma attack. Looks like you had some recent injury for which you received steroid injections. In fact, steroid helps asthma, not a side effect. So, start taking asthma meds, e.g. Bronchodilator with or without inhaled steroid. If not better, see your doctor.
