Reflux: The most likely cause of your breathing problem is gastro-esophageal reflux or what is common.Y called heartburn. Going to bed with a full stomach increases the likely-hood that acid from the stomach can leak into the esophagus and cause chest symptoms including cough, chest tightness and voice change. Treatment includes antacids, h-2 blockers and protein-pump inhibitors.

Psychological?: Filling your stomach and lying down prevent the lungs from expanding fully, especially if you are overweight. Being overly tired can give you all sorts of symptoms including being short of breath. Get yourself checked!
