A member asked:

If a child is not walking at 14 months, should it be worrisome, and what may be the cause?

I'd watch for now: I use 15 m as my outer limit for the skill of independent walking. This assumes that a 14 m kid is pulling up & crusing on furnature. If neither are present i would procede with a developmental evaluation at a child study center.By definition a small percentage of normal kids don't walk untill 15 m, kids with emerguing developmental pbs from a variety of reasons will be evident at this point.
