Ready: He will walk when he is ready and generally around the same time that parents and siblings did. Various devices like jumping gyms and devices that encourage climbing help strengthen his leg muscles and may encourage him to be more upright but he will walk when it is time for him. All the best.

Walking: Kids mature on their own schedule. If your little one has been achieving most milestones on time, that's fine. You don't get extra credit for reaching milestones early. If he's over 17 months old and not walking, please talk with your pediatrician about early intervention.
