Referred pain: Pain in mouth such as dental, sore throat radiates to the ear(s). Take tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen for your pain as needed.

Please have your doctor check your painful ear. *** in rare cases, there is a condition called "referred pain" in which the pain could be felt from a source other than the site of insult.
