Cough: A cough is not uncommon with or after a cold and over the counter cough medications are often not helpful. A good trick is to apply Vicks vapo rub to the bottom of the feet and cover with socks. If this does not help, or there is significant nighttime cough, it might be best to bring him in to be checked out further.
