Whoa: Massaging acne scars won't do anything. I'm sorry your acne was neglected in the first place leaving you scarred, and i'm glad you've found the courage to take isotretinoin. Your scars are for keeps unless you opt for specialist treatment with a laser, microsurgery, or a filler. Or you may choose to keep them for the tough-guy look as several hollywood leads have done.

Massage won't help: Massaging acne scars will not improve the appearance of the scars. My preferred treatment for acne scars is using a fractionated co2 laser to treat the entire face and then concentrating on the scarred areas with another pass. This won't remove the scars completely but definitely helps the appearance of the scars.
