Blackheads?: I was able to stop using medicine for acne when I turned 50. There's no cure and each person remits at a different time for reasons we don't understand. If you haven't made a faithful attempt over several weeks with topical retinoic acid, now's the time. Otherwise, get with a physician for a prescription-strength Rx to add to a good topical (retinoic acid or benzoyl peroxide).
