Not bad prognosis: The fact that the vsds are pressure restrictive is in your daughter's favor. Even though the left atrium is dilated, the vsds may get relatively smaller with time. The muscular vsds are highly likely to close with time. The perimembranous vsd may close, even though it is still present at 4 months. She will need intermittent followup to assure that the left ventricle stays healthy.
