My 3 year old had pinkeye last week & was prescribed antibiotic eyedrops. tonight she has discharge from one eye. is it a recurrence?

It may be: Best to get the eye looked at as infections of the eye, if left untreated can be worrisome. Best wishes.

Pink eye: Is very common. The recurrent symptoms could be caused by the same virus or bacteria which caused the original infection or it could be a new infection. Regardless of which case, you can use the same treatment as the first case.
