Some people are very: Sensitive to withdrawing from clonazepam, and should be tapered by 0.125 mg (1/2 of 0.25 mg tab) every one or two weeks. This usually will minimize withdrawal symptoms. If this does not work, seeing a physician with experience in helping people stop benzos (an addiction medicine/psychiatry specialist) can prescribe other meds - anticonvulsants like Depakote or Neurontin (gabapentin) - that can help.
