Lymphadenopathy can be caused by trauma, infection, inflammation, autoimmune disease, malignancy etc. It depends on the location, the size, symptoms and other result of blood work- oncologist as well as infectious disease deal with lymphadenopathy. If it is located on the neck- need to see ENT to chek head and neck area.
