Mouth pain: There are too many reasons for the teeth or jaw to hurt. Too many causes for dental pain. Some very serious. If pain remains consistent , you will need to see dentist in your location. You can ask the locals, or question the government representatives. Don't try to wait till you get back home.

While abroad: Unfortunately there is nothing that you can to to arrest the decay. Take otc pain medication as necessary, avoid sweets as much as possible and brush\floss\rinse to keep the area clean. Perhaps you can find a dentist within traveling distance to see and treat you.
