My 3 month baby is always scratching his face what is the cause?

Hard to say: Since a baby rarely has control of their hands until 4 months, purposeful scratching is less likely than random events. I would not assume the baby is doing it because of itching. Gloving the hands during this period, or using socks on the hands can avoid the scratches.
